Welsh Beekeepers Association Annual Convention

The Welsh Beekeepers Association warmly invites you to their annual convention on Saturday 2nd April at the RWAS Show Ground, Builth Wells. Entrance £7 in advance, £9 on the door.

Speakers:

Margaret Ginmam – Bee Farmers Association opening the programme.

Natasha de Vere – Plants for Honey Bees: Using DNA barcoding to understand the best plants for healthy honeybees.

Mike Brown(APHA) – What the Beekeeper should know about the Asian Hornet.

Clive de Bruyn – Making a Start in Spring.

The programme of lectures will be followed by a question and answer session with a panel of expert beekeepers.

The traders hall will have a range of beekeeping merchandise for sale, a canteen and a beekeepers corner where you can meet members of the Bee Inspection Service to answer your questions as well as other experienced beekeepers to offer support and advice.
